Mr Morris has been Chairman of Londinium since May 2013 and has over 25 years’ international experience acting as a professional advisor to company boards, senior management and other stakeholders across a wide range of industries. Prior to establishing Morris Consulting, Mr Morris held senior positions with two big four accountancy firms where he provided corporate recovery and restructuring solutions across a wide range of businesses and sectors. Mr Morris also spent a number of years as Finance and Commercial Director with a FTSE 100 group. Mr Morris holds an M.A. (Hons) in Economics from the University of Edinburgh, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and also holds a Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors in Ireland.

 

 

Pietro Soldini

Pietro Soldini

Mr Soldini is a founder of Londinium and was instrumental in obtaining its MiFID licence. Mr. Soldini has over 25 years of experience in private banking and fund management in Ireland and Switzerland. Mr. Soldini is a Certified Swiss Financial Analyst and Wealth Manager and a Certified Financial Analyst by the European Federation of Financial Analyst Society (EFFAS). Mr. Soldini graduated in law from the Università Cattolica, Milan, Italy, and holds a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors in Ireland.

 

 

 

John Hamrock

John Hamrock

Mr Hamrock has been a director of Londinium since November 2014 and brings extensive international experience in traditional and alternative funds to the Board. Mr Hamrock is a director of HF Fund Services (Ireland) Limited and serves as an independent director of investment funds across a range of fund domiciles. Previously, Mr Hamrock was a Member of Kinetic Partners in Dublin, managed the European Fund Distribution team of State Street Global Advisors in Brussels and was Head of Offshore Fund Services Sales and Marketing for State Street in Boston. Mr Hamrock holds an MBA in International Business and Industrial Development (with distinction) from the University of Ulster, a Certificate in Investment Planning from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk University in Boston.

 

 

Enea Petrini
Head of Londinium Lugano, Switzerland

Enea Petrini

Mr Petrini heads up Londinium’s operations in Switzerland and is a Swiss citizen resident in Lugano. Mr Petrini obtained a degree in law in 1991, a lawyer licence in 1994 and a public notary licence in 1999. Mr Petrini is member of the Notary and Lawyer Bar of the Canton of Ticino. Before working with Londinium, Mr Petrini was a Private Banking Manager for High Net Worth Individuals with Banca della Svizzera Italiana, one of the major Swiss private banks, supervising a team of over 35 relationship managers.

 

 

 

Brian Farrell
CFO

Brian Farrell

Mr Farrell is a Chartered Certified Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in the fund management industry. Prior to joining Londinium, Mr Farrell was a Vice President in the compliance and regulatory consulting practice of Duff & Phelps (formerly Kinetic Partners) for ten years, where he acted as a designated person of UCITS and AIFMD investment funds and management companies. Mr. Farrell also managed Duff & Phelps financial reporting practice. Previously, Mr. Farrell worked with Goldman Sachs in Melbourne and a number of other investment firms and fund service providers in Australia and Ireland, including a boutique derivatives trading firm where he was Financial Controller and Compliance Manager. Mr. Farrell is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

 

 

Nicoletta Basso
Head of Compliance

Nicoletta Basso

Ms Basso has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Londinium in 2014, Ms. Basso worked in a legal and operational role with CNP Europe Life in Dublin, a French life assurance company distributing its products into the Italian market on a freedom of services basis. Ms. Basso is an Italian qualified lawyer and passed the Bar exam in 2008 after completing mandatory law training and having been awarded a Degree in Law at the University of Padova. Ms. Basso also holds a Diploma in Investment Funds and Compliance from the Law Society of Ireland (2015) and a Diploma in Compliance from the Institute of Banking (2012). Ms. Basso is a member of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland.

Rubyen Crivelli

Mr Crivelli has 20 years’ experience in portfolio management and supports the investment team with the daily management of Londinium Global Equities Fund. Before joining Londinium in 2007, Mr Crivelli worked as an investment consultant in the private banking division of Credit Suisse. Mr. Crivelli is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA), holds a Swiss Federal Diploma for financial analyst and portfolio manager and has an MBA from University College Dublin – Michael Smurfit Business School.

 

 

 

Valentina Lanuara
Head of Risk Management

Valentina Lanuara

Ms Lanuara is Head of Risk Management and also supports the investment team with the daily management of Londinium Global Bonds Fund. Before joining Londinium in 2008, Ms Lanuara worked for UBS Zurich on the fixed income desk. Ms Lanuara is a qualified Professional Risk Manager (PRM) and graduated with an Executive Master’s Degree in Risk Management from University College Dublin – Institute of Bankers in Ireland. Ms Lanuara holds a Master’s Degree in Finance with a Major in Quantitative Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics of Markets and Financial Intermediaries, both obtained at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy.

 

 

 

Giovanni Solbiati
Head of Operations

Giovanni Solbiati

Mr Solbiati is Head of Operations and supports the investment team in the front office. Mr. Solbiati provides middle office services, ensuring that all trades are cleared and settled correctly and on time. Mr. Solbiati is also responsible for the wealth management unit and servicing private clients. Mr. Solbiati graduated with a Master Degree in Finance from Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy.
